Skype

Day after flu-recovery pictures

This is how we eat dinner with the twins when we are at home. It is called Skype.
Our friend, Patty, told us about it and it is the next best thing to being there.
Quote of the Day:
May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm on your face
The rains fall softly upon your fields.
May green be the grass you walk on
May blue be the skies above you,
May pure be the joys that surround you,
May true be the hearts that love you.
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Too cool for school

Daddy reads them a story after a long, exhausting day at daycare.
(7:00 p.m. and next stop their cribs)

Getting ready for school is very important-you have to look your best.

New baby dolls-we are not impressed

We picked out some very soft and cuddly dolls for the girls but they made it perfectly clear there is no replacing the Lorax and Olivia's Dr. Seuss baby.
A flu bug has been running rampant through the Hoff household. Clara and Katie we the first victims. Olivia made it clear that she didn't feel well either, when she hurled all over Pops.
He said that hadn't happened for 30 years, when Katie threw up inside his shirt.
Initiations haven't changed much.

First day at daycare

The girls started their first day at daycare. It is
the daycare at Katie's hospital. The day didn't start as smoothly as Katie
had hoped. Her stroller broke in the parking lot and she had to carry both of them in.
Clara decided to remove all the pacifiers from the other babies mouths. Although they didn't cry when she left, they did cry when she came to pick them up.(ready to go home)
The daycare providers said they had a good day.
We hope tomorrow goes well.
Quote of the Day:
Your child should be entitled to cry when you leave;
crying is a natural thing for a child to do when she feels bad.
The fact that your child cries doesn't mean she will never like
daycare. It just means she wants you to stay.
