Sweet Dreams

Olivia is getting ready for bed.
Smirk or smile? You decide.

Great Aunt Louise and Great Uncle Bill paid a visit to the twins. This is the first time Uncle Bill got to see them.

A day in the life of Clara and Olivia

Clara was enjoying looking at her mom and dad and her surroundings. Her bowling shirt is now a "belly shirt." She weighs 2lbs. 2 ozs., actually maybe a little more.
It looks like Olivia might join the long list of thumbsuckers in our family. Thumbsuckers are usually happy babies.

Olivia now weighs 800 grams. (1lb. 12 ounces)
Katie is reading Clara a book called Twins!
Clara has her hand on her dad's heart in more ways than one.
There is our big girl Olivia.
Quote of the day:

Jeremy and Katie and the twins

This is Clara getting a breather from her CPAP.

This is Clara again. Their hair color seems to be changing, getting lighter.

This picture of Olivia aptly describes how we are all feeling.
Katie said watch out when you are looking at the pictures - I thought Olivia was Clara. I think that will happen a lot in the future.
Jeremy and Katie at home in the 5th wheel.
God bless you all and to all a good night.

Clara and Olivia's Daddy returns to Palo Alto

Olivia always likes to keep her hands by her mouth and today she even was sucking on her finger.
Jeremy returned from Clovis and had a great time with Olivia.

Olivia in all her glory.
Katie and Jeremy and Olivia sharing a beautiful moment.
Jeremy and Clara hold on tight. (Tracy, she is wearing your hat! It is so cute!)

Katie and Clara are having a skin to skin hug.

I got to hold Clara today. I can't even describe how wonderful it felt.
Clara and Olivia are both being fed breast milk and are growing and gaining weight. They have their distinct personalities. Clara is very active and scoots herself around her isolet. Olivia is calmer and does a lot of sleeping. (which is the best thing for her.) She does get angry if you disturb her too much.
Please pray for their continued growth. We appreciate you so much.
Quote of the Day:
Before you were conceived I wanted you,
Before you were born I loved you,
Before you were here an hour I would die for you.
This is the miracle of life.

Pops visits the girls

After a week of a cold or allergies, finally Alan got to see the twins again. He was happy to see how good they look.
Clara is listening to her grandma sing songs. She likes This land is your land and Three little fishies in an itty bitty pool.
Olivia gets a break from her mask and we get to see her great little face.
Katie admires her baby, Olivia.
Katie got to hold both girls and they all had a great time.
There are many challenges on this journey but each day with our twins is a blessing. We are so happy that you are sharing with us in Olivia and Clara's progress. We love hearing from you through the comments. Thank you for your prayers.

A Quiet Day (which is the way we like it)

Olivia has some new decorations from her aunts: Hannah, Sarah and Rachel. The blanket is from Grandma Jannita and Great Grandma Iva.
Clara got the same set up.

Olivia is giving everyone a little wave good night.

Clara had a bath and a shampoo and is ready for bed.

Grandma Jannita and Great Grandma Iva check in on Clara.

Lord, Thank you for the gift of our girls. Please bless them and keep them well through the trials they are having to face. Please give all of us strength to face each day. In You all things are possible. In His name. Amen

The Hoff Family

Clara, without her nasal mask, now weighs in at 2lbs. 2 ounces.
Olivia seems to be very relaxed with her new hat that keeps her breathing mask in place.

Snoozing. Olivia now weighs in at 1lb. 9 ounces.

Don't you just love Clara's new bowling shirt? (Thanks, Cousin Kristen)

The Sunday Report: March 22, 2009

Olivia is still on the CPAP and doing quite well. Her dad lays his hand on her to tell her we are here and we love you.

Doesn't this look like a little smile?
Cousin Kristen reads Olivia Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks From A to Z. Kristen came to visit and bring some cute little shirts for the girls.

Katie changed Olivia's diaper. She had a little surprise for her.

Katie used a mirror to get a good look at Clara while she was holding her.

Clara did not like her CPAP on today.

Clara got a small break from her breathing mask and we got to see her cute little face.

Katie got the double whammy-2 dirty diapers.
Dear Lord, please watch over our family. Amen
