Happy 2nd week birthday, more friends came to visit, and a "funny" thing happened on the way to hospital

We had a "shift change" here. Jeremy and Oscar went back to Fresno for work and Pops (Alan) came back to Palo Alto. We were on our way to the hospital to see the girls and meet Kathy and Danni, when "Bam" we were hit from behind by a car. The car that hit us was pushed into us by a car behind her. Everyone was okay and we had very little damage, so we continued on our way, after the exchange of insurance information and a police report.
My friend Kathy and her daughter Danni came to visit the girls. They were checking out Clara's moniter. Danni is a nurse, too. They loved seeing the twins.

Katie and Olivia had some hugging time. Olivia is still trying to get used to the nasal mask.

Clara fell fast asleep in Katie's arms.

Danni and I were so happy and blessed to meet Clara and Olivia today. They are truly beautiful little girls and we were honored. I loved seeing Olivia move her arm every which way, while Clara slept! We love you all!

Danni and I felt so honored and blessed to meet Cora and Olivia today. They are truly beautiful little girls, and we are cheering them along each day. I loved watching Olivia move her arm every which way while sister Clara slept soundly. What a joy they are!

How much do the girls weigh now?! They are looking so strong! We are all wondering at CHCC. :)

I'm a college friend of Julie Coldani's and I'm so inspired by your story. You are both amazing parents and it sounds like you have a wonderful network of supportive family and friends. My husband and I live in Santa Clara and if you or anyone you know needs a place to stay while you're visiting your girls, we would be more than happy to offer our guest bedroom to them. Our door is always open and you’ll be in our prayers.
