This is Oliva. I am trying to show how much they are looking alike as the get bigger and gain weight. I am alternating their pictures.
With their matching hats, they certainly are hard to tell apart. This is Clara.
Olivia is in a cute little outfit. Her eyes are still a little swollen.
Clara looks like she has some thinking to do.
This is Clara, with her ample chins and her dimpled knees. What joy!
Olivia is sporting some double chins, too.

Katie, being a mother to Jon and you is the biggest blessing God has bestowed on me. When you were placed in my arms after giving birth to you, I no longer had to wonder about the meaning of life. God made it abundantly clear at that very moment. It has been my extreme pleasure for your dad and me to raise you. Now to watch you be the mother you are, is beyond joy! You did not get to ease into motherhood like most mom's. You were thrust into it but of course you landed on your feet. (as Fran says you are never boring) Watching Jeremy and you face each challenge with determination and love is so inspiring. Clara and Olivia have that kind of spirit, too. They are miracles.
At Mother's Day and everyday, I miss my mom so much. She was everything and more of what a mother should be. I hear her voice, with her wisdom and her witty sense of humor, everyday. She would have been so proud of you. All my love to you on your first Mother's Day. Mom

Happy nurses' week to all the great nurses who have played a part in Clara and Olivia's lives. Without the skilled nursing staff at both Community and LPCH the outcome could have been much different. The Hoff and Baker families will be forever thankful for the special care given to our children and their babies.
