A Tribute to our Nurses

Our favorite respiratory therapist

In honor of Nurse's Week, we would like to thank the extraordinary people, who have touched our lives so deeply. Starting on February 13th, 2009, the Hoff family has been in 4 different hospitals. At each hospital, they have received the very best in professional and personal care. We salute all of you. Thank you so much to the nursing staffs at Clovis Community, Fresno Community, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Central California.
Clovis Community Hospital was the first stop of the journey. The nurses helped stabilize Katie and got her over to Fresno Community. There the nurses in perinatal unit helped Katie continue her pregnancy as long as she could. When she went into labor and delivered the NICU nurses and doctors saved our babies in those first critical hours and stabilized them for their journey to Stanford. There are no words for our gratefulness.
Clara and Olivia spent over 7 weeks at LPCH at Stanford. Forget Brittany, Lindsay, and Miley, if you want to find role models for your children you need to go no farther than the NICU. Here you will find the most wonderful dedicated women, who care so deeply for their patients and their families. There were good days and bad days but we always had the support of our nurses. Their encouraging words, upbeat attitudes and friendship helped the family keep their spirits up. It was so obvious that you loved our precious girls and did everything to keep them strong and healthy. You have our unending gratitude.
Now at CHCC, they are growing and learning many "big girl" skills. Our kind nurses watch over their progress carefully.
All our love, Katie and Jeremy Hoff, Olivia and Clara, the Baker Family, the Hoff Family

We are so proud of those members of our family and friends, who have dedicated their lives to the healthcare profession.

Happy first Mother's Day, Katie! It brings us such joy to watch your little girls grow. They are truly beautiful, just like their mother.
