Too many cute pictures........(I couldn't decide so I put them all on)

After being held, Clara relaxed and had some eye to eye "talk" with her mom
It is such a blessing to watch Clara breathe on her own and only have her feeding tube left on her face.

A beautiful sight.

Another beautiful sight.

Clara is enjoying her afternoon nap. She weighs 3 lbs. 13 ounces.

It is so hard to pick the pictures to put on the blog, we want to put them all on so I pretty much did today.
Swaddled and up against your dad's chest, what could be better?

One of Olivia's favorite nurses, Gloria, and Katie gave Olivia a bath.
Our nurses have been amazing. We know they love our babies and do everything in their power to help them grow and get stronger. The doctors and nurse practitioners and all support staff have been so great, too.
Olivia is very content and ready for bed. She weighs 2 lbs. 11 ounces.

Olivia enjoyed her bath.

A beautiful girl is looking at her mom.

Katie, what is that stuffed in your shirt? Oh, it is our big girl, Olivia.

Our friends, Mandy and Lane, visit Olivia and Clara. They brought them some great classic reading-The Little Engine that Could
and Good Night, Moon. They, also, gave Grandma Linda a ride over. This is much appreciated.
God has blessed us so much with the support of our family, our friends, our coworkers
and people, we don't know but have joined us to lend their support for the girls. We know you are praying for the girls and look at the results, they are bigger and stronger each day. You are supporting this family with your visits, your encouragement, your monetary support, your gifts for the girls, your gifts of food and so many other ways. We are able to be here with Olivia and Clara because God has been so good to us and has blessed us with the amazing people, who surround us. It is impossible to find words to thank you enough but from the Hoff families and the Baker family we offer you our sincere gratitude. Please continue to pray for our lovely twins.
We would ask you to add to your prayers the other babies and their families in the hospital with
the girls. Many of these families have no support from family or the ability to stay here because of monetary constraints or work obligations or other factors. Many of the babies and families are facing extremely hard times ahead. I know the power of prayer and your prayers will help these babies, too. We have met so many fine people, the caregivers and families of patients, that has been amazing. Please know we are praying for you, too. Above all, we praise and thank God.
Quote of the Day:
What was wonderful about childhood
is that anything in it was a wonder.
It was not merely a world of miracles;
it was a miraculous world.
G.K. Chesterton

Today's post brought tears to my eyes. A bad cold has imposed a week long exile and I really miss the babies. Hope to see them later this week. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you.

PS. Aunts; Hannah, Sarah, and Rachel helped to support the March of Dimes research to prevent preterm births. Hannah participated in a 6 mile walk at Woodward Park. (Maybe next year Olivia and Clara can come along for the ride.)

Dear Katie & Jeremy:
We have followed your blog everyday but to meet the girls in person was amazing! They are so cute and so tiny, but so wonderfully and miraculously formed. What a miracle they are! And you two, Wow! I've heard that God will only give you what you can handle and God has entrusted these 2 precious girls to you both. Your commitment, love and trust show in your calm ways in talking with both of your yesterday. We will continue to keep your daughters and you both in our prayers. For your girls to keep growing and developing and that God and His angels would continue to keep their hands on them and their presence surrounding them. For you to keep your strength and positive attitude and your love for each other. One of the best gifts we can give our children is to love each other and have a strong bond together. Look what 6 weeks has done - we can only look forward with confidence in God what the next 6 weeks will bring. We love you and pray for God's peace, strength and blessings to you and your family.
